Douglas County Commissioner District 1: 2026 Republican Primary Results

This is the one purely local partisan race on the ballot, open because Abe Laydon is term-limited. It covers Parker and the north end of the county, and the June 30 Republican primary is widely assumed to decide it. We broke it down in our District 1 commissioner deep dive.

A county commissioner sets the Douglas County budget, land-use and zoning decisions, and county services for the district and the county as a whole.
